A little comparision of an early Super Famicom from 1990 with an SHVC-CPU-01 board to a late SNES Jr. or Mini redesign (SNS-101) from 1997 that's a 1CHIP console with a SNN-CPU-01 board.
Both consoles were captured with the same video cables and game (official Nintendo Composite cables and a 1993 American copy of Super Mario World).
As expected the original 1990 original Super Famicom board have some kind of smear in it's video output causing it to be blurrier; in comparision the 1997 SNES Jr. (SNS-101) 1Chip produces a sharper image, but it also is brighter than the 1990 Super Famicom board, which can in theory causes some isssues with some details in some games and the 1990 Super Famicom colors are in theory more accurate too.
In the audio aspect, both seems to sound very similar if not exactly the same, despite of the fact of the APU Audio Processing Unit of the 1990 SHVC-CPU-01 board being removable and that it has more components than the S-APU of the 1997 SNS-101 board.
