In this video, I showcase my homemade flex sensor glove project! I built these sensors from scratch and integrated them with an Arduino Nano to control a rigged 3D hand model in Blender in real-time.
How it works:
The flex sensors change resistance when bent, which is read by the Arduino's analog pins. This data is then sent to a Python script running inside Blender's Game Engine to rotate the finger bones accordingly.
Components used:
DIY Flex Sensors (Homemade)
Arduino Nano / Uno
Working Glove
Jumper Wires & Resistors
Blender (3D Modeling & Python Scripting)
This is a cost-effective alternative to expensive commercial data gloves. Perfect for VR projects, robotics, or animation!
