We rented this house for $300 a month in Siem Reap, Cambodia!

In this video, we give you a full tour of the house we have been renting for the past two years. We always wait until we have left a property before doing a video about it, so that’s why we haven’t shown this house any earlier. The house has two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private roof terrace, and many other great features. If you’ve only considered apartments in your search for accommodation in Siem Reap, Cambodia, perhaps it’s time you looked at some houses as well! In a house, you will pay the government rate for electricity, and this is cheaper than the rate tenants are charged in apartments. Note that this is true for houses on their own land. Houses in compounds will generally still have electricity charged at 1000 riel (US $0.25) per kWh. In a house, you’ll also pay for water by usage, not a flat fee, and this is always cheaper.
