Another year and another Ffestiniog Railway video for 2023.
On the same as the last few years pre-bookable trains of Mountain Spirit (Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog), Woodland Wanderer (Porthmadog to Tan-Y-Bwlch) & The Quarryman (Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog) with now bookable on the day too.
With all the available steam out and about on the Ffestiniog Railway with the two main fleet of Double Fairlies Merddin Emrys & David Lloyd George on the Mountain Spirit & Woodland Wanderer, Large England Welsh Pony was out on the second trains of the Woodland Wanderer and finally working from Blaenau Ffestiniog for the first time in many years Hunslet Penrhyn Mainline class Blanche on the Quarryman.
Video starts off with Blanche followed by Welsh Pony facing Porthmadog as it hasn’t been turned since Welsh Highland 100 gala then the double fairlies with Merddin Emrys followed afterwards David Lloyd George.
