Evening Trains at Fratton, PDL - 18th July 2024

Hello and welcome to both Subscribers & who has visted my channel for my latest Trains At Video.
On July 18th on a rather hot Summers Day, I went to my home patch and one of my local stations ( Fratton Station ) which is situated on Portsmouth Direct Line which is in between Hilsea and Portsmouth & Southsea.
Also well known to Portsmouth Football, which is in Fratton Park which is short walk away from the station.
So my thoughts: What can I say? In short it's a fun station to be at, it does hold a few promises.
There is lots of good content of trains that stops here, and you have Fratton Train Care Depot, where trains come in to have a wash and get serviced. You will see in this video some Empty Stock movement action during this video.
Facilities are good you got a little Coffee Shop which is situated on
Platform 1, near ticket barrier and the Booking Hall.
Views are not bad, but it is a curved station but still decent seeing trains approaching and departing.
Trains you will see in this video are SWR Desiros 444, 450, Southern Electrostar 377, GWR 158 & Turbo 165 & 166.
I made bit of changes in my thumbnail on Portsmouth - Waterloo. I decided that I took off Via Guildford & Basingstoke so that I make thumbnail it nice and neat for video
So I'll just put the headcode for the service in description to help you know what it is, which I put at the bottom.
Overall it is a fun station, but I much prefer Portsmouth & Southsea & Harbour.
