In this video I have a Kubota engine block that spun the balancer shaft bushing and damaged the block. Several shops turned this job down as they didn't have the tooling to work deep in the balancer shaft hole. As it turned out the space inside the block proved to be a challenge for this entire job. Follow a long as I fight several issues with clearance depth, alignment and chatter. This is just a fun filled barrel of monkeys kind of job! To make it even better the initial parts I got for the job were for the front bushing and unlike most other manufacturers that use the same bushings through out the engine Kubota doesn't do it that way and I sleeved the block to the wrong size. So back apart it comes!!! Will this job ever be a success and end?
