🎵 Highland Cathedral - Organ Performance by Manuel Böhm 🎵

I'm back from my vacation in New Zealand and I'm happy to show you a video from the church I played in. I am very grateful to the parish of St Matthew-in-the-City Church that I was able to play this organ and that I had the opportunity to start my vacation musically after more than 24 hours of travel :-)

The organ was completed in 2011 by Henry Willis & Sons and still contains individual pipes from the old organ from 1862! Today it has 58 stops, including 4 high pressure reeds in the solo division alone (Tuba 8' Tuba clarion 4', Trompette Militaire 8', Bombarde 16')
This organ was my first "english organ"!
When I looked at the stops and saw the high pressure reeds, the song "Highland Cathedral" immediately came to mind. It was amazing!!!

This beautiful piece was originally composed by Ulrich Roever and Michael Korb and suited this organ perfectly!
