This live presentation with Adrainne Renee Thompson was an interactive session, with Thompson reading selections of poetry from one of her books, 'My Diary of Online Dating'.
This program originally aired live on November 18, 2021, and was hosted by the Orange County Historical Museum.
Adrainne R. Thompson is a mother, grandmother, motivational speaker, author, poet, and an entrepreneur. She has won several poetry contests; spoken at Read-ins at the Orange and Alamance County Public Libraries, and written poems for special occasions. One of her most honorable achievements was becoming the first African-American whose poetry pieces were displayed at the SunTrust Gallery in the Captain White House in Graham, NC. She holds workshops on: bridging language barriers, coaching/training in organizational skills; self-sufficiency; and public speaking. Her other works can be found at www.xlibris.com.
