This is a scene from “The Phoenix”, the fifth season premiere of the 1981-90 CBS drama “Falcon Crest”. This was the first episode of the fifth season (99th overall). This episode also marks Morgan Fairchild's first appearance.
Recovering from the explosion of his previous residence, Richard Channing (David Selby) moved into a new house. Richard also meets Jordan Roberts (Morgan Fairchild), a glamorous attorney who approaches him with a job to represent him and help him rebuild his empire after he loses his share of Falcon Crest and went bankrupt.
Note: David Selby and Morgan Fairchild had previously worked together in short-lived 1980-82 NBC drama “Flamingo Road”.
