We drove a jeep over some steep dunes and straight into the abandoned Star Wars set! 🌟 This was put together in 1997 in time for filming for the first Star Wars movie. Ewen Mcgregor and Liam Neeson spent their days filming here within the Sahara Desert!
We also got scammed with a camel and a Sahara rock. The man was adamant he'd give us the Sahara rock as a gift and have the camel ride for free but later demanded 1TD (despite us stating we had no money from the very beginning)
We quickly made a choice to get out of this awkward situation by running to our tour-guide for help. The scammer ended up with 5x the amount of money he originally asked for (5TD) AND took my Sahara rock, in which Karl later got back.
