So, I'm definitely late to the party on this one, but felt it was important to make this video anyhow. And since a few youtubers tagged everyone, here we go...

The video is long, but check it out when you're bored. I've been larping longer then some of you have been alive, so I have a lot more to say then some folks. I hope you enjoy me sharing my past and preferences with you.

Do the Larp Tag: I'm late as hell to this party and several youtubers basically tagged everyone with larp channels to do this, so whatever, here we go.

1. Who was your first character? Atamaxx, which is a play on my name orc said fuck it to face paint changed to human and shortened the name to just Maxx to make it easy as fuck on me.
2. Favorite NPC to play? I don't really have a favorite, I enjoy the variety.
3. Current characters most prized possession? Well, we'll go with my primary larp here, I'd say a mug I won for a brewing competition, I've actually wont the brewing competition every year except 1 time, when my wife won...
4. How many shoes have you ruined since you started larping? None. I always wear boots whether I NPC or PC, running the in woods in anything other then boots, to me is folly. I see people in halloween costume grade boots with soles falling off, people in white tennis shoes, water-logged and stained from grass, people in flip-flops and sandals... are you fucking kidding me. Now, I have 2-3 pairs I wear, but I still have my original boots, they are actually the same kind the U.S. mail carriers wear. I have no idea where I got them, but they have held up, I waterproofed them, they are very like and super comfortable.
5. How long have you been larping? I started at age 16 I believe, so over 20 years at this point.
6. First game experience? Was at my primary larp... You notice I don't actually ever say the name of it, I wonder why? But my first experience was a 1 day event, they ran from about 10 am to like 5pm when they were held. As my orc character I was whisked away to another dimension where everything was chaotic and strange and we all had to find a lock and chase down a giant animated key, which one of my friends who was an avid cross-country runner played. So, trying to run him down was quite a task, but we got the key, opened the lock and got back to our own dimension. Whacky, but fun.
7. What Disney character is your larp character most like? Are you fucking kidding me, I don't think any one character fits the bill... I'm probably like a Mr. Dark from Something Wicked This Way Comes mixed with Flynn from Tangled.
8. If you could play anything, even outside of your genre, what would it be? Well I can play anything because I hit up multiple larps, but if I had to choose one, I'd be torn. I really like Cyberpunk, Medieval High Fantasy and Post Apocalyptic. BUT the most fun I think I've ever had is the few airsoft fallout larps I've attended. So, I'd probably go with playing a vault dweller.
9. What fictional world would you like to larp and why? I guess this ties in with the last one, however I've never played a sci-fi space type of larp. I think I'd really enjoy and Star Trek or Star Wars type of larp. so long as it was a good split of combat, and role-playing.
10. Weapon of choice? Well, I prefer sword and board for medieval. And any full-auto for future type games. But if full auto isn't possible, I'd stick with sword and board. Although I currently fight florentine at my primary larp, but that is only because my character is so powerful, I can afford to soak the extra hits to increase my DPS. When I sneak up to assassinate people, it's more important to strike faster and with 2 weapons, then to worry about defense. #larpgasm#larptag#LARP#larping #LarpMix larpmix
