Serious Discord Issue (Please Watch)

Discord has a serious issue at the moment, which has been mentioned and publicly announced by Discord Employees.

Many accounts are trying to pretend to be from the Discord Employee team under certain alias, such as; Discord Partners, Discord Testers, Discord Mods and even Discord Nitro related accounts - although much rarer. This is a brand new type of phishing scam aimed at obtaining your information, your personal details and then effectively compromising your Discord Account and potentially also your Discord Server. This has unleashed chaos, with many Discord Accounts being hacked by hackers… banned by Discord… and compromised by certain individuals and groups. This comes in the height of summer when Discord is very popular at the moment, with many Discord Servers being extremely active and more users messaging on the platform then ever - and it also comes in the middle of a brand new YouTube Premium / Discord Nitro promotion - so some people could be expecting official messages from employees.

In summary, do not click on any link you get from an account which is not a verified Discord System Message, nor talk to anyone claiming to be a Discord Employee if they do not have the necessary Discord Badges (there is a Discord Staff badge, if they do not have that, they are not an actual Discord employee) - if in doubt, contact Discord Support or Trust and Safety via the official routes.

In the background of this video, my friend is on the biggest Minecraft Server in the world… Hypixel. He is playing Bed Wars, and is protecting is bed with interesting bed defences, collecting loot via obtaining iron, gold and diamonds and is fighting other teams whilst they speed bridge over to his island. He is on version 1.8.9 which is great for PvP, whist having Lunar Client and Optifine Minecraft Mod.
