James Bond diehard fan Christopher Nolan expressed interest in directing a Bond film after the release of '#TENET', but producer Barbara Broccoli didn't approve stating that no director would have final cut of the film.
Producer #BarbaraBroccoli and #MichaelGWilson have a strict policy of retaining creative control, meaning no director gets final cut on a Bond film. This was a sticking point for Art Film director Nolan, who typically demands full creative control over his projects.
As a result, Christopher Nolan went on to make '#OPPENHEIMER' instead.
