The quick-thinking Dong singers carefully refined, selected words, metaphors, modifications and refinements from Dong folk spoken language and life, and compiled Dong Chorus. Dong Chorus contain many onomatopoeias, such as ‘ko, ko, ko’, which simulates the crowing sound of a rooster, and ‘du ko du ko’, which simulates the sound of cuckoo. They are very close to life.
