It’s tough out there. The Ruapehu District has been hit hard, and for young people trying to break into work, the struggle is even tougher. But some are fighting back. In Taumarunui, builder Rephan Woods is taking on 18-year-old apprentice Hoani Adams-Topine. With backing from the Mayor’s Taskforce for Jobs, they’re proving that local businesses and young people can build a future - together. Thanks to James Towers and Louise McCoard from MTFJ for the work they do.
