Last week, we took over a wine bar in Soho to chat face-to-face to the brilliant Bruce Daisley. Together with Isabelle, our host for the evening, we turned to Bruce to hear how we can help each other overcome life's tricky bits.
Here are three key learnings we took away:
Resilience is not a personal trait. Instead, it's the result of collective experience.
A sense of community and companionship at work helps us be more productive and happy, but our individual purpose should be tied to more than just the company we work for.
Friendships outside of our workplace matter more than we think. They validate us and strengthen our sense of belonging, which is why we should actively nurture them.
