The Phillies signed designated hitter Kyle Schwarber to a five-year, $150 million contract on Monday to keep the slugger in Philadelphia for the next half-decade.
Schwarber, who turns 33 in March, is coming off a career season and secured a rare contract for a DH-only player.
Schwarber and Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski will hold a press conference Tuesday at 12 p.m. to discuss the contract and what's next for the club.
