Three days following Borah Peak, I woke up early to dayhike Kings Peak, the tallest mountain in Utah. I was a little concerned about the mileage, considering I was on tired legs and planning to climb Rainier in a few days. I put my big boy pants on and went for it. Fortunately, weather and trail conditions were perfect, and I managed to knock out state highpoint #23.
