In this video, I make a 1907 to 1911 transitional Edwardian corset, with the higher bust point and softly curvy silhouette of the era. I explain how this eras corset differs from the earlier Edwardian corset and how the silhouette is supposed to look on your body so that you can easily modify the pattern to give you the correct silhouette for the era. The pattern is a single-size corset in my size and is free for personal use.
You'll need:
1 yard of sturdy fabric (silk taffeta, satin, cotton sateen, twill or aida)
11" busk (or other size, measure on your body sitting straight)
2-6 garters
4mm grommets
6 yards ribbon for lacing
