This webinar presents a new model and workflow for determining upper limb kinematics. The new model is an ‘out-of-the-box’ solution meaning that no specialized marker sets or additional pieces of equipment are needed. The model is based on published evidence, follows the International Society of Biomechanics’ recommendations and aims to overcome the limitations and issues associated with the upper limb component of the plug-in gait model. During the webinar, instruction will be provided on marker placement, collection of calibration trials and running of the pipelines, with considerations of good practice to ensure robust data collection. In addition, a discussion will be presented on how to interpret the results with a focus on the contextualization of the data.
