An unusual call involving a "suspicious subject" unexpectedly transformed a quiet weekend in South Florida into a rural pursuit when Palm Beach County deputies discovered their suspect was actually a wandering cow.
The dramatic chase took place in Wellington, Florida, on Saturday, November 15, after the bovine, named Pumpkin, was spotted roaming through a local neighborhood. The uncooperative animal ignored commands, mooed loudly, and even trespassed onto a neighbor’s lawn before officers, with the help of Fire Rescue and a rope, managed to secure it.
The Sheriff’s Office said the owner of the bovine remained unknown.
