SLEEP AWAKE throws you into a world where falling asleep means disappearing forever. Developed by EYES OUT and published by Blumhouse Games, this first-person horror experience mixes surreal visuals, shifting environments, and a city on the brink of collapse as everyone fights to stay awake.
In this video, I give a full breakdown of the story setup, gameplay style, and overall atmosphere. Visually, the game is absolutely stunning — the environments bend, flicker, and twist in ways that feel genuinely artistic. But at the same time, something about the pacing and tension feels off. Instead of true dread, it sometimes feels more like walking through a haunted attraction: cool to look at, creative, but not always scary.
That said, it’s still an interesting experience, and there’s definitely something unique here. If you’re into psychological visuals, dreamlike worlds, and experimental horror, SLEEP AWAKE might still be worth a shot.
