Supreme court jails man who called judges ‘fools’

Seven Justices of the Supreme Court have sent a man who used insulting language against judges in a petition he had filed against the Electoral Commission to prison.
Ivan Samuel Ssebadduka was sentenced to three years in prison for Contempt of Court after he was convicted. Ssebadduka's troubles started on 4th September this year when he filed a petition in the Supreme court against President Yoweri Museveni, the Electoral Commission's Simon Byabakama and the Ministry of Health challenging the action of collection of signatures by Presidential aspirants amidst the threat of COVID-19.
