Yaoyao's Adventures in the Desert pt 4: Snakes, why did it have to be snakes?

Who am I? I do not consider myself a gamer, though the brother who truly got me into video games says I totally am - he's even said I play games better than him. Major compliment there! The first games I've ever played were silly, simple 8-bit computer games. I may have played PacMan at one point? My oldest brother came home on leave once and brought home a bunch of Nintendo games that I played a bit of, like Mario and some sort of carnival-like shooting game. I was really bad at that. Played some racing games and street fighter games. But what really grabbed me was RPG games. Specifically Japanese RPG ones featured on Playstation 1 and 2. All games and consoles were borrowed kindly from my brothers, until I finally was able to get my own Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch just a few years ago. Of course, before that I was playing online games like Disney's Pixie Hollow and Free Realms (may they rest in peace) and eventually Star Stable, Guild Wars 2 (started in the same year when Free Realms closed down), and Genshin Impact. As such, I am a mature player who doesn't swear and have overly ridiculous reactions or opinions - that's not to say I don't have any comical reactions, though, and I keep my unpopular opinions to myself less I get in trouble by certain groups of people. Wow. That was a long introduction, huh? And I forgot, I'm also a writer of fantasy stories; where you can get an idea of what my 'unpopular opinions' are!
