From FLDS Polygamy to LDS Faith: My Journey of Belief and Belonging

In this video, Sam shares the incredible story of leaving the FLDS (Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) community, where he was raised with four mothers and Warren Jeffs as the prophet. At just 18 years old, Sam made the life-changing decision to walk away from everything he knew, waking up on a stranger's couch with no plan for what was next.

Join us as Melissa interviews Sam about his journey from a strict polygamous upbringing to discovering the mainstream LDS (Mormon) Church. From the challenges of navigating the outside world to reconnecting with family members who viewed him as "wicked" for leaving, Sam reveals the ups and downs of transitioning between two very different religious worlds.
