Penang Botanic Gardens (Waterfall Gardens). Established in 1884, the gardens are Penang’s green sanctuary, famous for its colonial-era landscaping, giant trees, and the natural waterfall that gave it the local name Waterfall Gardens. Today, it remains a favorite spot for morning walks, rare plant collections, and cultural events.
Moon Gate. Once the grand entrance to Yu Yi Yuan, the 19th-century mansion of Cheah Chen Eok, only the iconic arch remains. It now serves as the starting point for the popular Moon Gate Trail 5, leading hikers to Station 5, Bukit Cendana, and Rainbow Rock with stunning views of George Town.
