Today I'm excited to share 10 of my top sewing tips for absolute beginners! These tips REALLY helped me in my sewing journey! This has been a video I've wanted to make since I started the channel, so I was excited to sit down and compile this list and share it with you today. As a community, we all have so much collective knowledge, so please feel free to share in the comments section what some of YOUR top tips are as well. Not only would I love to know, but I'd love for both this video and the comments section to be a help to others!

1) Sew It Academy (monthly subscription platform with sewing classes, drafting classes, illustration, etc etc). ----GREAT for beginners

2) Patreon (website and app where you can subscribe to content creators at different fees). I really love Gertie (though not all of her content is beginner friendly), as well as Helen Castillo (from patterns to drafting and personal vlogs of her journey. I joined this as more of an intermediate)
