Throughout 2024 and 2025 I was involved in some publicly funded music projects, aimed at several community groups.
One of these focused on 'music and movement' with a lovely dementia carer's support group called 'Dudley Me, Myself and I'. They have a special place in my heart because of my own parents and when I asked the group what songs they'd like to hear, 'Roly' by Raymond Froggatt proved a popular choice.
So, I learnt the song and here is a video of my version. It's remarkable for it's clever use of TWO chords. As I mention in the video, my own songs tend to have many, many chords!
