life in NYC (first apt, food spots, and cooking)

😌 That LA trip, man. I get emotional watching it sometimes. For one, it was a long time ago LOL and two, because I have so many good memories attached to that week. It's funny though because even though those clips mean so much to me. It obviously won't have the same effect on other people. BUT I hope that at least some of the good vibes rubs off on you.

Anyway, we've been eating at a ton of places in NYC per usual. Honestly, even though I've been to more places, I don't know if my skills as a food critic have gotten any better. Not that I want to become one either. I WILL SAY though, I think I can tell what authentic Korean and Japanese food are like. Other than that, the extent of my food game comes down to: it was good or it wasn't. That being said, St. Anselm was good and so was Lim's Kitchen. Both just a lot more expensive than I was expecting.

As I'm writing this and as I see the paragraphs growing, it's starting to feel like an AP Lang assignment. BUT of course, this is a lot more fun. Almost done though. MOVING onto basketball. I'm still playing a ton of basketball, but it has definitely taking a toll on my body. I think my meniscus in my left knee is damaged and I can't bike because of it. I love the sport, but I think I need to learn how to shoot better. The better you can shoot, the less you have to move. Unless you want to be a demon on defense then sorry man---moving is inevitable.

Oh and an update on the Knicks. It was fun while it lasted. I don't think the Knicks have what it takes to win this series. You got us beat, Irfan.
