In today’s Peace on Earth reflection, Father Jonathan Meyer looks honestly at the violence, division, and hurt we see in our world — in schools, churches, politics, and even our families — and he asks the hard question:
“Will there ever be peace on earth?”
His answer is both simple and challenging:
Peace begins with you and me.
Father Jonathan reminds us that every act of violence comes from forgetting the dignity of the person in front of us. And every act of genuine love restores peace — even something as small as looking someone in the eye, greeting them by name, or offering a blessing at the checkout line.

Choose peace. Choose joy. Choose to love the person right in front of you.
