𝑺𝒚𝒏𝒐𝒑𝒔𝒊𝒔: suryeon and logan are college sweethearts, but everything turns around once they got out of law school — from controlling parents and arranged marriages to hidden pregnancies and old enemies.

𝑷𝒍𝒐𝒕:
Suryeon is in constant struggle as every opportunity to work after law school becomes futile just because she is engaged with her college sweetheart Logan, the heir of Korea’s top law firm. It later turns out that his parents instructed every law firm to do this. Logan wants both of them to go to US, though he was secretly arranged to be married with another law firm heiress, Aeran. Just when her troubles couldn’t get any worse, she finds out she’s pregnant with his child. Fearing for her, Logan’s and her child’s future, she keeps it a secret and decides to break it off with Logan. Not accepting what he just heard, he storms out to confront his parents, thinking that it was the reason why she acted this way. She tries to stop him, but his frustration takes over him, telling her that he’ll continue to go against his parents’ wishes for her. She lies by saying she’s tired of living this kind of life and that she knows about his arranged marriage from his mother.

Two months after they broke up, she witnesses the wedding after she was manipulated by Logan’s parents. It is revealed that Logan reluctantly agreed to the marriage, so his parents can stop bothering her. They meet a week later, and Logan tells her that he and his wife mutually agreed for divorce, implying that he is still keen in leaving Korea with Suryeon. Suryeon tells him that she will be living with her parents until then, that she’s going to be okay.

After six months, Logan and his ex wife have officially divorced in secret from their parents. Logan waits for her at the airport and we get to see a now obviously pregnant Suryeon. Logan tries to call her, but she doesn’t answer. Tragedy ensues as a man he prosecuted hunts down Suryeon. Fear suddenly consumes him as he drives to her hometown, and sees his colleagues. They reveal that there were no survivors and that a pregnant lady died of trauma. He breaks down and realizes that Suryeon has been pregnant for eight months without him knowing, and now, they're gone.
