Traveling from Kathmandu to Kulekhani is a scenic journey.The distance between Kathmandu and Kulekhani is approximately 30-35kilometers. The journey typically takes around 2-3 hours by bike car, depending on the road conditions and traffic.
Start from Kathmandu and head towards Balkhu.
Take the Tribhuvan Highway towards Dakshinkali.
From Dakshinkali, continue towards Pharping.to right then humane-fakhel-kulekhani.
You can catch a local bus or a sumo from Ratnapark or balkhu in Kathmandu heading towards Pharping or Dakshinkali.orFrom Pharping, you might need to take another local transport (like a jeep) to Kulekhani.Public transport options are less frequent and might not be very comfortable, but they are budget-friendly.The road can be narrow and winding, with some rough patches, especially during the monsoon season.but The route offers beautiful views of the hills, forests, and local villages.
Kulekhani is famous for its dam and the Indrasarovar lake, which is a popular spot for boating and picnics.
