In this video, we'll look at what a ground is, its components, and then we'll focus on verifying and measuring the grounding resistance of electrodes buried in the ground. We'll look at the three main methods used: the fall-of-potential method, the selective method, and the method without auxiliary stakes. We'll see how to apply these methods with different measuring instruments.
NOTE 04-06-2021: At minute 2:39, the NEC is referenced, but the 5 ohm specification for sensitive loads is not included in NEC 250.56, which only mentions 25 ohms. The 5 ohms specification would be a general recommendation not included in that article.
