Feels Like Home [relaxing piano music - mind, focus, chill, calming, anxiety, stress relief music]

Relaxing piano music you can listen to in the background during your day, during a meditation, reflection, while studying, working, or focusing, letting your thoughts run free, as a soundtrack during your ME time, but also as peaceful music in the evening before going to sleep. Of course also simply to relax and enjoy.

This session’s title 'Feels Like Home' is partly inspired by a conversation in the comments section on YouTube (with Susanne from Sweden who lost her home due to a fire), and partly it’s just me reflecting on the feeling that comes with the word Home. ...And partly through a conversation I had with a friend last week if I'll ever buy or build a house myself.

Some definitions of “home” I can read on Google are like “...the place where one lives permanently…”. OK, so that’s the place where we reside. I’m after something different here, though. With home, I personally associate a feeling of belonging, connection and feeling well, a place that’s mine, and in best case reflects my values. Is that similar with you, or is it just me?

...looking back, I believe I didn’t live in such a place for the past years. I’m a quite sensitive nature, and for example noise and air pollution are not exactly items that create a feeling of home for me personally. Didn’t help to live close to busy streets in the past. This year I moved to a new, quieter place and it already feels more and more like my home to me. I don’t want to confuse those who are living in a wonderful home situation already. Also striving for perfection kills good - is something worth mentioning here. But there are many who are maybe in some sort of a transition, or in a temporary situation, possibly in search for a new place that feels like home.

When you think of the word Home, what comes to your mind? What elements does a feel-good home have for you, what might be absent by choice? Can Home be also a metaphorical idea, a beautiful place in our minds, a vision, or a place in a broader sense than a space in a house?

And then there’s of course the music. And some new fall decoration around the piano. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for being here! Your feedback is always welcome.
