Gerald Ronson is the Chairman of CST and a JLC Trustee. He is one of the most successful businessmen of his generation and one of the most respected developers in the UK. He also invented self service petrol stations over 50 years ago. In 1956 he founded Heron Group – now called Heron International Plc – of which he is Chief Executive and is Chairman of Rontec, the third largest independent roadside retail business in the U.K.. Alongside his business interests, he is one of the most hardworking and generous philanthropists in the UK today.
