Описание:

We have a potential supervolcano problem again on our hands, although it does not involve Italy's Campi Flegrei volcano or the Yellowstone volcano. Rather, the problem relates to a wider group of volcanoes that are sometimes called supervolcanoes, along with their usage in science communication and news articles. I now believe that the term "supervolcano" is misleading and outdated, and instead should be replaced by a different term which I am calling "large caldera complexes".
