A shout out to Jack Forsberg for sharing this tip on using an angle grinder to refinish cast iron surfaces. I first became aware of his method more than a decade ago and I've been using it ever since.
A woodworker's life sometimes involves repairing the wood shop equipment. In this case we are rebuilding a 50 year old Rockwell Delta Unisaw. This one is in pretty bad shape, full of mis-matched pieces, and in some places completely missing pieces.
The Delta and Rockwell woodworking equipment has been much loved by many for close to 100 years now, and at the top of the list of their equipment is the incredible Unisaw, a name that grew synonymous with production grade wood shop equipment.
