Disney Crossover - All Hail The Heartbreaker

Ok, giving this another try, I sure do hope this works.

Basically, the story is that growing up, Jim and Ariel were both raised on bedtime stories of the other's kind. Jim was always convinced the Merpeople were real, while Ariel was always told to keep her existence secret from man. Jim dreams of growing up to be a sailor, and this dream comes true through his employment to be on Prince Eric's crew.
He is unexcited with his position, and simple cabin boy that does all the chores no one else wants. Ariel ignores the decree to stay secret from man and goes to explore a ship she sees overhead. She spots Jim mopping the deck. There's an explosion on the ship and suddenly everything is engulfed by fire. Ariel saves Jim and returns to the sea just as he awakens to see her tail.
Jim is obsessed with Ariel now, he is determined to find Atlantica. He meets a cyborg who takes him to a portal that leads them to the land of the merpeople, he is given a talisman that allows him to breathe underwater, just as he sees Ariel, an underwater creature attacks him to make a meal of Jim. Ariel distracts the creature, and in the tussle Jim loses his talisman, so he sucked back to the surface.
Ariel's sister questions as to why she would even risk their safety for his life. Ariel realizes that she is drawn to him as well, and maybe even be in love with him. He is no doubt in love with her.
Ariel realizes what she must do, she needs to become a human in order to be with Jim, and protect her family from any further investigators.
She goes to ursula and becomes human, the catch is that if she ever goes back into the sea, she will immediately turn back into a mermaid. When she gets to the surface, dressed in rags, Jim finds her and can't believe his eyes. He takes her to Prince Eric's castle, while she is bathing and getting freshened up, Eric is scolding Jim for bringing a stray into his quarters. His whole tune changes when he sees Ariel's ineffable beauty though. He immediately turns on the charm, and Ariel, being naive and innocent to man's wily ways is swept up in the romance.
Jim is hurt and furious at Ariel's betrayal. He finds Eric and Ariel in numerous awkward situations and stops each one of Eric's attempts. Eric is not going to allow Jim to keep him from what he wants, Ariel.
Eric informs Jim that he is being sent away on an expedition to the south indies (Bahama area islands) to claim some land and make a name for himself. Jim is at first shocked and eager to accept such an offer, until he sees the true intentions behind it. He refuses, and Eric tells him that if he won't go as a conquistador, he will go at a prisoner. Eric claims Ariel for himself right then and tells Jim that he is going to marry her.
Ariel overhears this whole exchange and runs away. Later she is standing on the docks and is distraught about how much trouble she has caused and how much she has hurt Jim. She realizes that now if she refuses Eric, he will do something terrible to Jim. She throws herself back into the ocean and turns back into a mermaid.
