What a trip into the new year. The storm was our constant companion. We had to change the route several times. Despite this, everyone kept their good spirits and enjoyed the adventure. The storm shook us up on the Vestfjord and on New Year's Eve the menu became a challenge. The trip ended in Trondheim because we could not continue due to the heavy storm. All guests were taken off the ship and the outstanding organization of Hurtigruten kept everyone in a good mood. Nevertheless: it was a great trip that had some fantastic moments in store. On day 9 we were delighted by the famous arctic light and by day 10 we had already given up hope of seeing the northern lights clearly. But the sun sent us a geomagnetic storm that gave us a fantastic northern lights south of Brønnøysund. Yes, even in these conditions it is the most beautiful sea voyage in the world!
