The year 2025 marks the 400th anniversary of the Synopsis of a Purer Theology, a foundational seventeenth-century Reformed document published in response to the Arminian crisis and the Synod of Dort. Written by four Leiden University professors, the Synopsis shaped Reformed orthodoxy and influenced theologians like Gisbertus Voetius, Herman Bavinck, and Abraham Kuyper.
