Roll with the Changes - REO Speedwagon acoustic cover

Every now and then I get a bee in my bonnet over a song and it gets stuck on a loop in my head. This classic by REO Speedwagon has been rattling around in there for ages now. Usually, the only way to be done with it and move on is to learn how to play it and perhaps stick it in a setlist for a gig or two. As I'm not playing live much at the moment due to the PhD and other fun stuff, doing a video cover was the next best thing for scratching that itch.

Because I've been so busy I haven't had time to jam with my definitely-not-made-up friends - you wouldn't know them, they go to another school - I had to improvise and record my own gurning face a bunch of times for the harmonies on this one.

This is such a fun song that I'm still not sick of it, despite layering all these parts and takes together to make the finished track and video!

I'm using my three Faith guitars - Venus Blood Moon, Naked Venus, and HiGloss Baritone Neptune - and they were all captured by an Aston Microphones Stealth while the Aston Spirit was used on all the vocal parts.
