Welcome to this walk in Suffolk, UK on part of the, 'Munnings Trail' , following in the footsteps, or should that be hoofs? of Sir Arthur Munnings a well known British artist.
Sir Arthur was born at the Mill, and our walks starts from the lovely quite village of Mendham and follows part of the, 'Munnings Trail', along quite country lanes and rural footpaths to the village of Homersfield then returning to Mendham along the, 'Angles Way', trail beside the river Waveney, a distance of approx. 5 miles.
The Munnings Trail is in fact a 26 mile circular route for horse riders and goes through the many parishes which hold the names of saints and they are all hold a wealth of history. This is the first of a new series of easy to follow circular walks for individuals or families under the banner of,
'LET'S GO WALKING'.
