关于保罗.塞尚

Paul Cezanne在1839年1月19日出生于法国。他的家境富裕，父亲是一位著名的银行家。在瑞士的一间美术学院（Academie Suisse）上课学画画。
作画40年间，创作了超过900幅油画和400幅水彩画。画了许多静物画，大部分作品都有苹果。
印象派画家。他是著名印象派画家毕沙罗（Pissarro）的学生，后来两人有合作作画。

The Basket of Apples
Still Life With Curtain
Apples And Oranges

2011年，他的画作《玩纸牌的人》被卡塔尔王室购买，估计金额超过2.5亿美元，是当时卖出最贵的画作。

1906年，外出作画时遇暴风雨罹患肺炎，不久后过世。
毕加索(Pablo Picasso)和马蒂斯(Matisse)声称Cezanne的作品对他们产生了巨大的影响，将Cezanne视为现代绘画之父。

About Paul Cezanne

Born in Aix-en-Provence, France, on January 19, 1839
Wanted to study at the academie des beaux-artes but got refused and eventually studied at Academie Suisse for art studies instead
Painted for 40 years in which he created more than 900 oil paintings and 400 watercolours
He painted a lot of still life paintings that mainly included apples
His painting of The Card Players sold for more than 250 million dollar in 2011, which was the most expensive painting ever sold at that time (sold to the royal family of Qatar)
He was an impressionist painter
He was a disciple of famous impressionist painter Pissarro who he later worked with as equals
He was rich because his father was a famous banker
Died of pneumonia in 1906 because of his dedication to his work, he did not want to stop painting during a storm
Picasso and Matisse claim Cezanne’s work has had an immense impact on them and they see Cezanne as “the father of us all”
Some other famous artworks of him are “The Boy in The Red Vest”, “The Basket of Apples”, “Still Life With Curtain”, “Apples And Oranges”
