HOBBYBOSS 1/72 SCALE HAWKER HURRICANE MK.IIc (Trop)- Build Video

In 1941 the Mk.IIc variant of the legendary Hawker Hurricane entered production. With the type being armed with four, wing mounted 20mm Hispano cannons. Upon entering service with the Royal Air Force, the MK.IIc flew in various theatres of the conflict. With the largest use of the Hurricane MK. IICs during the North African campaign. Where their cannons proved extremely effective at destroying light-skinned vehicles and trucks, and even tanks, with the bombs providing additional firepower.

The Hurricane MK.IIc was also used by the South East Asia Command of the Royal Air Force. Primarily as fighter-bombers, engaging Japanese positions in the Burma Theater of the Pacific War. SEAC Hurricanes were also involved in an air defense role. Along with conducting air strikes against Japanese Shipping. Until the end of World War Two in 1945.

THE KIT

In this video you will see me make this easy to assemble kit by Hobby Boss. Which makes a nice model of the Hawker Hurricane MK.IIc. With the model painted in a mixture of Vallejo and Italeri Acrylics. With the chosen paint scheme depicting a Hawker Hurricane MK.IIc belonging to the RAF South East Asia Command circa 1943 to 1945.
