In the 1995 Meath Intermediate Football Championship final, Simonstown Gaels defeated Castletown to claim their first-ever Intermediate title.
Final Score: Simonstown Gaels 0–16, Castletown 2–9.
Venue: Pairc Tailteann, Navan.
Date: 24 September 1995.
Context: This victory secured Simonstown’s promotion to the Senior ranks.
Castletown, trained at the time by Shane McEntee, suffered a narrow defeat despite scoring two goals.
Simonstown had reached the final after a dominant 2–9 to 0–2 semi-final win over Rathkenny, while Castletown edged out Syddan by a single point (1–9 to 1–8) in their semi-final.
