After trying out Grendel last year, I never got around trying his buddy Gauss against the Eidolon ona one-on-one, so today was tha day. He actually performs rather well since his Kinetic Plating does provide damage reduction and his Redline increases his fire rate and reload speed. Still not the Meta, because he lacks abilities to protect the Lures but not bad... not bad at all.
