Wolfhouse, The Philip Johnson Mid-Century Home in Upstate NY! | Design Within Reach Furniture

Today we are going to the famous Wolfhouse just about an hour outside of New York City in Newburgh, New York. In this vlog we're staying at Wolfhouse thanks to the amazing team at Design Within Reach. Wolfhouse was built in 1949 by the American architect, Philip Johnson. Then in 2020 the house was restored to its original glory by Jiminie Ha of the Guggenheim and the artistic director, Jeremy Parker. Featured in Architecture Digest, Dwell, and more. A lot of the furnishing was done in collaboration with Design Within Reach, so we are seeing Knoll Bertoia chairs, Hay Mags modular sectional sofa, 1966 Dining Collection table, Man Ray chess set, and not to mention, an entire kitchen made out of USM Modular Design. We'll give you guys an in-depth house tour showing you all the beautiful interior design this modern oasis has to offer. We'll take some medium format film photos with the Pentax 67ii and the Contax G2. To finish we'll make dinner in the USM kitchen and give you a how to cook a Branzino fish.
