Rosicky vs. Spain (EQ2012 Away) + Highlights

This match was similar to the Barcelona vs Arsenal match in many ways. Spain's national team well known for their quick pass and movement style and clinical finishing. I was surprised by how well the czechs defended during the full length of the game. it is true that Spain DOMINATED the game but the czechs did well to get the ball on the other side and win corners, throw ins or free kicks deep inside Spain half of the field. they stayed tight on the midfield, they showed great commitment on blocking attacks from the flanks or crosses, Spain didn't create that many chances during the 1st half of the game. just the first minute iniesta chance and Villa's brilliant volley. Spain started to cause Danger in the 60th. minute winning corners, free kicks and the czechs were hanging on, but 4 minutes of madness cost the the game. a Brilliant individual skills by villa with a lucky deflection tied the game, then a bad challange by the czechs midfielder gave away a silly PK. someone might say that Cech could've done better in both goals but I don't think we can blame him. Spain will always create chances even if you close them down, Cech did well to save whatever came in his path.

The first half spain were easier to supress with only villa forward, but when they switched to 2 forward players Villa and Torres, Xavi and iniesta had more options when they make forward runs. it was a great game to watch, well done Czech republic, I didn't expect them to perform this well ;)
