Meet Gracie – a 15.1hh Standardbred mare with an easy-going nature and a calm, steady way of going. Started in our intensive groundwork and riding program, Gracie has completed over 60km of trekking, including mountain climbs, river crossings, and forest tracks. She’s soft in the bridle, great with her feet, self-loads, and is the kind of mare you can relax on and enjoy.
Gracie is a 7-year-old Standardbred mare, measured at 154cm, and she's ready to find her person. Calm, kind, and balanced, Gracie has completed over 50km of trekking around Canterbury and is progressing beautifully in her flatwork.
She is:
Safe and sensible – no buck, rear, or bolt
Naturally well-muscled with a balanced way of going
Self-loads and floats easily
Great for the farrier and excellent with her hooves
Barefoot and sound
Schooling confidently and continuing to improve
Gracie would suit a confident rider ready to bring on a lovely, honest horse with a great foundation. As her education and kms under saddle continue, her price will increase.
