Important note:
Like Jack said, therapy is really a good thing for your mental health. There’s still a stigma about it because “The need to talk about your emotions is seen as something to poke fun at, weak or shameful” but in reality, we are all only humans and it’s okay to talk about your feelings and emotions instead of bottling it all inside until we break. You will not become any less of a person you are now if you seek for professionally help to help you with your mental health :) and tbh it is a very good thing u r doing for ur self :D So don’t forget to seek for help for your mental health, it’s good for you in the long run :) Your mental health is as important as your physical health and don’t let anyone tell u otherwise :)
Remember that “You don’t have to have a severe psychiatric disorder to see a therapist, people who feel ‘stuck in life’ or are dissatisfied with their relationships can benefit greatly from a few therapy sessions.” A short period of counseling also can be helpful if you’re going through a life-changing event like retirement or the loss of a loved one. :)
And also, like Jack said; if you can’t afford therapy, try going for sliding scale options where they charge your fee according to your income. I don’t know much about how it works so I'll link some sites on this for you to check it out :D Hope this helps!
